Nakanoshima

Nakanoshima is a sandbank located in Kita Ward, Osaka, between the Dojima River and the Tosabori River. It once flourished as the center of Osaka and still boasts many historical buildings, art museums, and lush parks.

The area is abundant with water, with the Okawa River being the confluence of the Dojima and Tosabori Rivers, making cruising a popular activity. Nakanoshima is the symbolic island of “Aqua Metropolis Osaka,” where visitors can experience the charm of the waterfront.
