The Tenma area is an area centered around Tenjinbashi, Minamimorimachi, and Tenma in Kita Ward, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture.

In the Tenma area, there is Osaka Tenmangu Shrine, which is dedicated to Sugawara Michizane, the god of learning. The Tenjin Festival, held every July, is considered one of Japan’s three major festivals.

It is also famous for Tenjinbashisuji Shopping Street, the longest shopping street in Japan with a total length of approximately 2.6km from north to south and approximately 600 stores. The shopping street is not only the kitchen of the locals, but also a place where you can drink during the day, so it is crowded with many tourists.
