Minobu Town: Features, Popular Tourist Attractions, Gourmet

Minobu Town is a town located in the southeastern part of Yamanashi Prefecture. The area is 302.3 km² and the population is approximately 117,000. Minobu Town is known for being home to Minobu-san Kuonji Temple, the head temple of the Nichiren Sect. There are also many natural sightseeing spots such as Mt. Fuji and Lake Motosu. Minobu Town is also known as the sacred place of the anime “Laid-Back Camp”. Various spots will appear, including the “Minobu Station area” and “Lake Motosu,” which were the settings of the anime.
