If you’re planning to visit Uzu no Michi (Ōnaruto Bridge Promenade), here are three nearby parking options:
Among them, the closest one to Uzu no Michi is the Daiichi (First) Parking Lot.
Although the first parking lot offers a decent number of spaces, it’s located in a popular tourist area and may be full at times. In such cases, you’ll need to use either the second or third parking lot.
Even if you park in the second or third lot, you’ll first need to walk to the first parking lot before heading toward Uzu no Michi.
One important note: the road from the second and third parking lots to the first one is a steep uphill path. Walking it requires a fair amount of physical effort.
So, if there’s space available in the first lot, it’s highly recommended to use it.
After passing the second and third parking lots and going around a curve, you’ll reach a fork in the road. Take the right-hand path for the shortest route to the first parking lot.
Parking in the first lot spares you from walking up stairs or steep slopes.
You’ll also find restaurants and souvenir shops right in front of the lot. The Escahill Naruto, which offers a panoramic view of the Ōnaruto Bridge and the Naruto Strait, is also located nearby.
From the first parking lot, it takes about 5 minutes on foot to reach Uzu no Michi. For detailed walking directions, see below:
