From the Daiichi Parking Lot, it’s about a 5-minute walk to Uzu no Michi.

The walk is downhill on the way there and uphill on the way back, so returning may take a bit longer.

1. Cross the Pedestrian Bridge

Exit the Daiichi Parking Lot and head toward the right, in the direction of Escahill. You’ll see a pedestrian bridge.

There’s a sign on the bridge that says “Uzu no Michi this way,” so it’s easy to spot.

From the center of the pedestrian bridge, you’ll get a front-facing view of the Ōnaruto Bridge. This is a popular photo spot.

This is the only place where you can enjoy this view. Be sure to stop and take a look.

3. Descend the Pedestrian Bridge

As you continue across the pedestrian bridge, you’ll see the Ōnaruto Bridge Memorial Museum Eddy on your right.

Once you see the museum, that means the bridge is ending.

Head down the stairs.

After descending the bridge, you’ll find the Naruto Park guide map and a monument commemorating Japan’s Top 100 Roads.

The Ōnaruto Bridge was selected in 1987 as one of “Japan’s Top 100 Roads” for its scenic beauty fitting of Naruto Strait, which is designated as a National Park (Setonaikai National Park) and a Place of Scenic Beauty.

4. Don’t Miss This Hidden Photo Spot!

Once you descend the pedestrian bridge, the path slopes downward. You’ll soon walk under the Ōnaruto Bridge—but stop before you go under!

Take a look toward the sea. You’ll be greeted with a breathtaking view.

Once you’ve passed under the Ōnaruto Bridge, you’re almost there. Just walk down this path to reach Uzu no Michi.
