Founded in the late Heian period by Kogyo Daishi, this temple is known as the 17th temple of the Thirty-six Fudo Temples of the Kanto region and is affectionately known by locals as “Todoroki’s Fudo-sama.” You can enjoy cherry blossoms in the spring and autumn foliage in the fall.

Take a Break at a Sweet Shop
Todoroki Fudoson has a café on-site where you can enjoy meals and take a break.
Within the temple grounds, there is a tea house called “Shiki no Hana” where you can buy soft-serve ice cream and Fudo manju (steamed buns).
Additionally, just a short walk down to Todoroki Valley from the temple grounds, you’ll find the sweets shop “Setsugekka,” where you can enjoy matcha, anmitsu, oshiruko, and, in the summer, kakigori (shaved ice).
There is free parking available next to the main gate of Todoroki Fudoson, with space for about 10 to 15 cars. The parking lot is open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. After 4:30 pm, the gate is locked, and you will not be able to retrieve your car, so please be mindful of the time.
