Its name is MIRACLE WORLD. As Osaka’s first permanent indoor digital art museum, it offers a surreal experience across six themed areas.

MIRACLE WORLD is an experiential digital art museum located in the basement of Namba Oriental Hotel in Sennichimae, Chuo-ku, Osaka. Built around the concept of “A surreal space that resonates with your senses,” it combines projection mapping, spatial audio, and interactive elements to deliver an immersive experience.

The first area you’ll encounter is ANIMAL, where jewel-adorned creatures greet you.
Leopards with piercing eyes and animals with dynamic, muscular forms. The creatures displayed on the LED walls are decorated with jewel-like ornaments, glowing ethereally in purple light. Each moment is illuminated, creating an immersive realism as if real animals have appeared before you.
The mirrored floors and walls create an endless reflection of imagery—a spectacular sight. As an introduction to MIRACLE WORLD’s universe, this area builds anticipation for what’s to come.
The DIAMOND area features mirrored floors with LED displays covering the walls and ceiling. The jewels filling your entire field of vision are breathtaking.
Countless sparkling diamonds transform continuously through light and reflection, enveloping you in brilliance from every angle. The dazzling atmosphere is beautiful, making you feel as if you’ve stepped into another world.
Beyond diamonds, pink and mint-green butterflies flutter through the space. This fantastical realm of shimmering jewels is one of MIRACLE WORLD’s signature highlights.
The NATURE area is themed around water and nature. Waterside imagery spreads across the entire floor, beautifully depicting Japanese scenery.
With each step, ripples spread from beneath your feet as koi and stingrays swim around—endlessly captivating to watch. During autumn scenes, falling leaves scatter with the ripples. In this refreshing space of shimmering water and light, you can experience the four seasons of Japan.
Interactive elements that respond to your movements appeal to visitors of all ages. The scenes evocative of traditional Japanese landscapes and autumn in Kyoto are particularly noteworthy.
The SAKURA area symbolizes Japanese spring. The moment you step inside, you’re enveloped by a floral fragrance.
Cherry blossoms in full bloom are projected across the walls while petals drift down to the floor. The display unfolds to a ballad, creating an emotional experience. The space bathed entirely in pink is beautiful, charming, and filled with a gorgeous atmosphere.
Touch points on the walls let you trigger cherry blossoms to bloom and spread. This area lets you experience cherry blossom season through not just visuals but also fragrance, music, and touch.
The UNIVERSE area is themed around outer space. Here, you can experience communication with aliens.
Operate the panel and an alien appears on screen. You can choose from multiple characters including child and adult aliens to chat with. What’s surprising is that these aliens speak in thick Osaka dialect. The unexpected combination of outer space and Osaka dialect creates a gap that’s bound to make you laugh.
Multiple languages are supported, so anyone can enjoy conversing with the aliens. It’s a playful area where space meets Osaka.
The SKY area is MIRACLE WORLD’s grand finale—a 360-degree immersive visual experience.
Starting from Earth floating in space, the journey continues through the deep sea, sky, and city. The story unfolds with magnificent visuals. Airplanes flying through sunset skies, cityscapes with Tokyo Tower standing tall—each scene transition brings new wonder.
With floors, walls, and ceiling all wrapped in imagery, the immersion is overwhelming. This area offers the most narrative-driven experience, a fitting conclusion to MIRACLE WORLD.
Photography is allowed throughout all areas of MIRACLE WORLD. From entrance to exit, every space is photogenic—take plenty of photos and videos to share on social media.
Staff members are stationed in each room. If you ask for help with photos or videos, they’ll happily act as your photographer. Don’t hesitate to request commemorative shots with friends, partners, or family.

Taking your time to explore, the experience lasts about 40 minutes. Rather than “just watching,” you “become part of the art.” That’s what MIRACLE WORLD is all about.
MIRACLE WORLD is located where Minami Sennichimae Shopping Street meets Namba Sennichimae-dori. The entrance features a large monitor with staff standing by, making it easy to find.
