You Must Try the Cheese Gyeranjjim!

All of Rakkando’s Korean dishes are delicious, but the cheese gyeranjjim is a standout. Gyeranjjim is a traditional Korean dish, a smooth and fluffy steamed egg custard.

Cheese Gyeranjjim Cheese Gyeranjjim: ¥680

While gyeranjjim is a common Korean dish available at several restaurants, Rakkando’s gyeranjjim is topped with cheese, making it truly exceptional! The gentle flavor combined with the milky richness and depth of the cheese makes it irresistibly delicious.

They also offer a standard gyeranjjim without cheese (¥630).

Enjoy Rare Boksoondoga Song Makgeolli!

Another highlight of Rakkando is the availability of Boksoondoga Song Makgeolli!

undefined

Boksoondoga (Boksoon’s Family) Song Makgeolli is a makgeolli made by the Boksoon couple using traditional brewing methods, known for its natural fermentation carbonation and beauty benefits.

Boksoondoga (Boksoon’s Family) brand’s Song Makgeolli means handmade makgeolli.

This makgeolli is incredibly delicious. However, it is not commonly served at most Korean restaurants. Finding it is a stroke of luck, but you can enjoy it at Rakkando!

With a crisp and clean taste, it has no unpleasant aftertaste and a lower alcohol content compared to regular makgeolli, making it easy to drink even for those who are not strong drinkers.

Previously, I had it at a Korean restaurant in Kyoto, and it was absolutely delightful, so I highly recommend ordering it when you visit Rakkando.
