Of course, there are advantages to camping by car, such as carrying more luggage and shortening travel time to the campground. However, going camping without a car allows you to feel closer to nature and enjoy a more extraordinary experience.
We introduced campsites you can reach from Tokyo without using a car. When using trains and buses and walking to the campgrounds, it’s important to consider how to procure food. Carrying all the food from home increases the weight of your backpack, so we selected campgrounds where you can buy food locally.
