There’s a shop attached to the management building where you can purchase miscellaneous goods and firewood.

The shop is well-stocked with snacks, cup noodles, seasonings, gas canisters, detergents, and other miscellaneous goods. Cooking utensils are also available for rent.

As space is limited, if you want to secure a spot here, it’s best to check in as close to the opening time as possible.

The view of Lake Saiko from the lakeside sites is breathtaking.

When visiting this campground, the lakeside sites are definitely the spots to enjoy.

Beautiful Views of Lake Saiko

While it may vary by season and conditions, among the Fuji Five Lakes I’ve visited, Lake Saiko left an impression of being quiet with less wind and waves, creating a tranquil atmosphere.

A mountaineer I met and chatted with here also mentioned that Lake Saiko is quieter compared to the other Fuji Five Lakes.

The views of Lake Saiko are particularly stunning during morning and evening hours.

(However, strong winds can occur at times, so be sure to prepare for all weather conditions)

A Sacred Site for “Laid-Back Camp” Pilgrimage

The Lakeside Campground was featured in the music video for “The Sunshower,” the 7th single by Asaka, which was used in the short anime “Room Camp” from the “Laid-Back Camp” series.

This spot is right in the middle of the highly sought-after lakeside site area, making it quite challenging to secure.
