It takes about 12 minutes on foot from Kofu Station, but since it is located in the center of Kofu city, you can get there in no time if you take a walk. It’s not that bad if you’re drinking in front of the station and then move to Kofu Gourmet Yokocho.
From classics to Yamanashi Prefecture specialties! Enjoy all genres of cuisine
The alley is lined with shops of various genres, including obanzai, yakitori, seafood, Italian, Chinese, game, and ramen. You can enjoy dishes made with seasonal ingredients from Yamanashi.
Speaking of Yamanashi Prefecture’s specialty, “Torimotsu”
We also have standard izakaya menu items such as cold tofu, edamame, and fries.
You can also enjoy Italian food and Koshu wine.
Koshu is a white wine famous for Ajillo and Koshu wine.
No need to get lost! Enjoy dishes from all stores in the shared area
There is a space within the Yokocho called the “Share Area” where you can order food from multiple restaurants at once. This allows you to taste dishes from a variety of restaurants little by little.
The shared area is a food court-like area in the center of the first floor of Kofu Gourmet Yokocho with plenty of seating. You can order by sitting there and reading his QR code with your smartphone, so you can order the food you want without worrying about the store. That’s what it means.
When you scan the QR code with your smartphone, a menu like the one below will be displayed and you can place your order.
Once you place your order, the staff at each store will bring your food and drinks to your seat.
I’m glad that I don’t have to worry about which store to go to.
The food and drinks introduced at the beginning are all ordered from tables in the shared area, although each store has different dishes. The menu you see on your smartphone is not divided by store, so you can order whatever you want without worrying about which restaurant it comes from.
WIFI is fast!
WIFI at Kofu Gourmet Yokocho is fast. When I measured it, I was getting 210 Mbps.
Of course, it depends on the number of simultaneous connections (how many people are connected to his WIFI), but it is unlikely that any commercial facility with a certain amount of space will be able to provide this speed.
