A camp enclosure is also required for a bonfire.

At Three Stone Campsite, the rules for starting a bonfire are set out below.

  • Use a bonfire stand
  • Setting up a camp enclosure

Bonfire

I don’t see many campsites in Japan that require the installation of camp enclosure.

However, I have used this campsite before when camp enclosure were not required, and I think this rule is a good decision as there are occasional strong gusts of wind.

Bonfire

Due to the location, there are many moments when the wind is strong, so it is essential to set up camp enclosure to prevent wildfires. Please note that if both conditions are not met, you will not be able to start a bonfire.
