What you need for soot cleaning
The tools needed to remove soot stains using baking soda are as follows:
- baking soda
- sponge
- Container for hot water
baking soda
As long as it’s baking soda, the manufacturer doesn’t matter. I always use here. It’s large-capacity, inexpensive, and can be purchased at any drugstore in Japan.
Sponge
The manufacturer of the sponge does not matter. However, if you are concerned about scratches on your mug from scratching, it is best to use a fine-mesh sponge.
Container for hot water
Prepare a container that can hold hot water. Choose a capacity that allows you to soak the cooking utensils you want to remove soot stains in hot water.
Practice cleaning soot stains!
Now let’s clean the soot stains. The steps are as follows:
- Put the cooker and mug in the container
- Pour boiled water into a container and add baking soda (stir moderately).
