Outdoor Day Japan is an annual outdoor event held in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Sapporo, and Kobe.
It’s known for showcasing the latest products from both major manufacturers and garage brands, with a particular focus on camping gear.
In addition to camping equipment, you’ll find booths offering outdoor apparel, food, miscellaneous goods, custom outdoor vehicles, and even tourism information from nature-rich regions. Food trucks are also present, allowing visitors to enjoy meals and drinks.
Every booth is open for sales, letting visitors purchase the latest gear or get flagship models and discontinued items at discounted prices.
Each city’s event is held at different times of the year, typically from spring to autumn, so there’s always an Outdoor Day Japan happening somewhere.
Large items such as tents, tarps, and vehicles are exhibited on-site, making it a hands-on, interactive event that enjoys wide popularity across Japan.
Due to COVID-19 measures, this year’s event implemented a time-slot reservation system, limiting each visitor to a maximum two-hour stay. (We entered during the 13:00–15:00 slot.)
Let’s take a look at some of the exhibiting brands.
