Fieldstyle is an outdoor event themed around “proposing a rich lifestyle through play,” featuring numerous camping gear manufacturers and camper developers in the spacious Aichi International Exhibition Center.
The venue is AICHI SKY EXPO (Aichi International Exhibition Center).

〒479-0881 5 Chome Centrair, Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture
A large crowd had already gathered before the opening. We lined up and entered the venue in turn.

The line was long, but it moved quickly, and we reached the entrance in about 20 minutes from the start.

We handed over our tickets and received wristbands as proof of entry.

Upon arrival, the vastness of the space was overwhelming.

Manufacturers had set up booths in every available space. If you’re planning to attend Fieldstyle, we recommend setting aside an entire day.
Among the countless stalls, here are some products I found particularly interesting.

RETROISM creates gear using brass, offering camping gear with a beautiful, classic atmosphere.

The brass plate for the regulator stove in the center of the photo is also very beautiful.

Lantern shade for GOAL ZERO.

We received many novelty goods here as well.

This is the booth for a product called Stamina No.1.

Stamina No.1 is a product line rich in garlic, including ramen and hot pot soup. It was originally made for the Self-Defense Forces.

We were able to sample it as well.

It had the most intense garlic flavor I’ve ever experienced. It’s a dish you want to enjoy in an environment where you don’t have to worry about the smell afterward. It was that strong.
However, it was quite delicious, so if you love garlic, I highly recommend trying it at least once.

Grandex was selling a cute mini-sized Swedish torch called “THE TORCH.”

This cute Swedish torch is about the size of a hand and burns for about an hour. It seems perfect for small groups, couples, or families with children camping.
Minna Mikan was selling freshly squeezed orange juice.

I’ve never seen so much orange juice at an outdoor event before.

I tasted it, and it was so delicious that I bought a bottle of Miyagawa Early (1,300 yen).
Miyagawa Early had a great balance of acidity and sweetness, making it very drinkable.
For example, portable power sources. Using a portable power source in camping significantly improves comfort. However, since they are large, it’s hard to decide to buy one without seeing the actual item.
At events like this, you can see the actual size and weight in person. There were booths demonstrating the use of portable power sources in tents and their interior and exterior decorations, allowing you to compare which capacity is suitable for your case.
The Jackery booth.

Portable power sources were lined up.

Seeing the actual items helps you understand their size and weight.

The Jackery booth had a tent set up, demonstrating the use of portable power sources to supply power to surrounding equipment.

Showing it as a scene like this makes it easier to imagine using it in a tent.
The Jackery booth was also giving out novelty can caps.

Next is the GOALZERO booth.

Portable power sources are handy in camping when used with solar panels, as they can be charged on the spot.

Solar panels are also large items that you’d want to see before purchasing. Being able to see them up close at the event is great.

There were many shops selling plants, not just mechanical or food-related product manufacturers.
Here are some shops selling houseplants.

Here is a “Driftwood Pendant Light” that uses driftwood as a lighting fixture.

The irregular driftwood gives a stylish atmosphere.

There were many camper van exhibits as well. Works from various manufacturers and developers were on display.

Camping gear manufacturers ranged from major manufacturers to garage brands, with a wide and substantial number of exhibitors.
Here is the booth of VISIONPEAKS

There were also many garage brands exhibiting, showcasing unique gear.

There were many booths selling wooden and leather products as well.

There were so many booths that we couldn’t introduce them all, highlighting the large scale of Fieldstyle.

Fieldstyle has outdoor booths as well as indoor.

In the outdoor area, SOUL FOOD JAM was held.

There were many food trucks in a vast area. The weather was perfect for an outdoor lunch.

The outdoor area had a rest space where you could eat what you purchased.

Outdoor chairs were set up in the rest area. Many chairs from various manufacturers were available.

You can take a break here if you’re tired, but it was also a groundbreaking rest area where you could compare and sit on different chairs from various manufacturers.

We entered after 10:00 am and stayed until about 2:00 pm. Even then, we felt like we didn’t have enough time.
Fieldstyle is a large-scale event with many booths to explore. And the outdoor area boasts a rich lineup of food trucks.
There are not many outdoor events of this scale in Japan.
What we’ve introduced here is just a fraction, so if you’re interested, please visit. You’re sure to find your favorite camping gear.
