Bus: From Fujinomiya Station Bus Rotary Platform 5, Fujikyū Shizuoka Bus take the "To Kamijo" bus. Get off at "Yodoshi Nishi" bus stop. The restaurant is right in front. (Travel time: 13 minutes) *You can also take the bus from Nishi - Fujinomiya Station.

Laid-Back Camp Sacred Place

Ito Shokudo is also famous for being the model of the restaurant where Nadeshiko ate in episode 7 of the anime “Laid-Back Camp” SEASON 2. She came to eat shigure-yaki recommended by her sister.

The restaurant is run by an elderly couple. Regular holidays are Mondays and Tuesdays, but they often have irregular temporary closures.

The owner announces in advance on Google, so be sure to check before visiting.

Each of the 4 parking lots has a Yakisoba banner. If you don’t know where they are, the restaurant staff will guide you if you ask.

A popular restaurant with inevitable lines!

This time I visited on a Saturday. I arrived at 10:35 for the 10:30 opening. But there was already one group waiting. As expected of a popular restaurant.

However, after waiting for about 5 minutes, we were able to enter. If you want to enter with as little waiting as possible, it’s best to go right after opening.

Inside the restaurant

The inside of the restaurant was just as seen in the anime. The moment I entered the restaurant, the scenery synced with the anime and I felt happy for some reason.

Not only were there manga, anime, and drama posters, but also lots of Yurukyan△ posters, photos, and illustrations. This place was originally supposed to be a gathering place for local people. But I was happy to see that visitors on pilgrimages like this were also welcomed.

The inside of the restaurant was also the same as the anime. I was moved by the high reproducibility.

The owner is actually kind

In the anime, the owner was depicted as having a craftsman-like atmosphere, but the actual owner was calm and smiling the whole time, a really wonderful person overflowing with kindness.

Gomoku Shigure

What I ordered was the popular “Gomoku Shigure”.

I was asked if I wanted the sweet and thick sauce or the salty and thin sauce, so I chose the sweet sauce.

It’s understandable that Nadeshiko was staring at it eagerly, wanting to eat it soon.

After waiting 10 minutes. Gomoku Shigure was ready.

Gomoku Shigure is cut into easy-to-eat sizes.

It was fluffy, with a crispy surface, pork, and also the texture of squid, so it was fun and delicious.

I could understand that this is a dish worth waiting in line for.

For light eaters, a medium size is recommended.

Gomoku Shigure can be ordered in “medium” or “large” sizes. I ordered a medium, but it was quite filling.

For light eaters, the amount of a medium is just barely enough to finish, so be careful when ordering.

A wonderful restaurant that makes you want to come back

Gomoku Shigure was of course delicious. Fujinomiya City is known for its specialty Fujinomiya Yakisoba, so I was very satisfied to have “Gomoku Shigure”, an okonomiyaki with Fujinomiya Yakisoba inside.

And above all, the couple running the restaurant had a really good relationship and were wonderful. The owner and his wife. They were very kind and had an atmosphere of enjoying their work together as a couple, which was wonderful.

When you come to Fujinomiya City, I highly recommend visiting.
